Denver Criminal Attorney
Jay M. Tiftickjian has tried approximately 60 cases to jury verdict in Colorado within the past five years alone in all courts in Denver, Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Jefferson, Boulder and Douglas Counties.
In Colorado, Mr. Tiftickjian has handled hundreds of serious felony matters, thousands of misdemeanors and thousands of DUI/DWAI cases as both a criminal defense attorney and a prosecutor. He has tried to jury verdict many serious criminal charges, including First Degree Murder, First Degree Assault, Mandatory Crimes of Violence, Sex Offenses, and Child Abuse cases, as well as Domestic Violence cases, misdemeanor assaults and batteries, and serious traffic offenses involving death and injury.
Mr. Tiftickjian began his criminal defense career representing white collar criminal clients at a firm in New York State. In 2002 he moved to Denver, Colorado to be a deputy district attorney for the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, which prosecutes cases in Adams and Broomfield Counties. He ventured back into criminal defense in 2004 and has built a successful practice through his trial skills and legal connections that has formed the foundation of The Tiftickjian Law Firm, P.C.
